Common questions
Is my text uploaded?
No. Everything runs with JavaScript in your browser — no server, no account, no tracking.
Does it detect names too?
Patterns (email, phone, IBAN, cards, links) yes. Names not automatically — that's the "Own terms" field. Always review before pasting.
Why anonymise at all?
AI inputs can be stored or used for training. Sensitive data shouldn't go in unprotected. Anonymising lowers the risk without the AI helping less.
Note: this tool is an aid, not a guarantee of full anonymity and not legal or data-protection advice. Always review the text yourself before sharing it.
